    Today, Friday, political analyst Hazem Al-Bawi described the attempts of the Taqadum Party, headed by the dismissed Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, to change the internal regulations of Parliament to pass its candidate, Shaalan Al-Karim, as “stillborn.”
    Al-Bawi told Al-Maalouma, “The attempts of the Taqadum Party to re-impose Shaalan Al-Karim by amending the bylaws of the House of Representatives are useless, because it realizes that even if it succeeds in making the amendment, its candidate will be rejected by the political forces.”
    He pointed out that "the state of consensus to reject Al-Karim exists and will not change."
    He stated that "the Sunni political component is aware before anyone else that participating in the political scene and assuming the position of Speaker of Parliament will not happen unless a candidate is chosen and agreed upon, but there is no progress." Ended 25 n
