The General Traffic Directorate confirmed today, Thursday, the operation of the electronic payment system and the complete suspension of cash at the beginning of next month.
The Directorate stated in a statement received by Mawazine News, that “only the electronic payment system (pos) will be used as of May 1, 2024 in all directorates affiliated with the General Traffic Directorate, and cash payment will stop permanently.”
She added, "The General Traffic Directorate currently operates with an electronic payment system only in some directorates."
She continued: "We call on all visitors to the General Traffic Directorate to complete their electronic payment cards before visiting the General Traffic Directorate's departments, so that we can complete their transactions smoothly."
