Today, Thursday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani reiterated Iraq's move towards expanding petrochemical projects.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement received by Al-Nakhla News, "Al-Sudani received a delegation from the American KBR Engineering Company, which specializes in sustainable technological solutions."
He explained, "The meeting witnessed a review of the company's overall work in Iraq, in cooperation with Iraqi oil companies in the field of oil production, and enhancing the benefit from associated gas. The possibility of participating in integrated energy projects and forms of participation and investment were also discussed, in a way that achieves the highest returns and benefits for Iraq." of oil wealth.
The Prime Minister pointed out that "the government's approach to attracting productive partnerships, based on resource development, and providing the necessary and successful investment environment, in addition to the financial, banking and tax reform the government is undertaking, enhances the possibility of positive participation."
He reiterated "Iraq's orientation towards expanding petrochemical projects, the production of petroleum derivatives, fertilizer projects, and other promising industrial projects, which welcome foreign expertise and investments, establish a diversified and solid Iraqi economy, and create more job opportunities, which is what the government program emphasized."
