It has become very logical that the visit of any Iraqi prime minister to the United States of America means acceptance of the new political reality of Iraq, and Washington must deal with this reality not only according to its desire, but rather it is a political will that expressed the voice of the Iraqi street, which came through the ballot boxes. On the other hand, Mr. Sudanese realizes that if his visit is not welcomed in the White House, this means that he will face major obstacles in his career and political and executive work.
Therefore, the visit was truly remarkable and important and received great attention from the American administration, in terms of reception and importance, as Mr. Sudanese headed an important delegation in which he was at the head of the negotiating table.
The Iraqi political forces view this visit with caution, because its success means Iraq moving from one stage to a new stage, especially with setting a timetable for the withdrawal of American forces from Iraq, or agreeing on the broad lines of the upcoming American forces’ mission. Washington views Mr. Sudanese as a political figure who embodies the reality, dreams and aspirations of the Iraqi people. It seems that he has succeeded to some extent internally and wants to excel regionally and internationally. He has proven his success in these complex files, restored the international community’s confidence in the new Iraq, and reflects the reality of productive democracy, which has been able To establish the principle of peaceful exchange of power after years of exclusivity, injustice and dictatorship, and to reflect a reasonable picture of governance in Iraq, and is now trying to reach the complex networks of international relations in general, including the United States of America. Therefore, Mr. Sudanese realizes that his visit has many important milestones, He must work hard to reflect a good image of governance and democracy in the country.
The visit will achieve a goal and a new stage for the strategic partnership between Baghdad and Washington, which will certainly support Iraq’s sovereignty and the independence of its political and sovereign decision, and emphasize its distance from any potential conflict in the region, especially in light of the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel and with direct interference with the international community, so everyone realizes that the powers are equal. political or government of Mr. Sudanese, that there is strenuous and important work awaiting him in keeping Iraq from its land being a battleground for others, but on the contrary, it should be a table for dialogue and bringing the viewpoints closer between all the conflicting parties.
