The representative of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Mahma Khalil, confirmed that Nechirvan Barzani is looking at Al-Sudani’s visit to Washington with enthusiasm.
Khalil said, in a televised interview followed by Mawazine News, that “the Sunni and Kurdish partners in the political process have authorized Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani to negotiate with the American side to advance the economic and security reality in Iraq and strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries, stressing that America wanted to host al-Sudani a year ago.” from now on".
He added, "All the political blocs, including the region's president, Nechirvan Barzani, only view Al-Sudani's visit to Washington with optimism and success, noting that the success of Muhammad Shia' Al-Sudani is the success of the entire government program and the success of the state administration coalition."
He pointed out that Iraq is considered one of the countries most capable of bringing viewpoints together in the region because of its good relationship with all the countries of the region and its neighboring countries.
