The Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee set, on Tuesday, the date for voting on the National Intelligence Service Law, while confirming that the Iraqi Parliament is preparing to vote on the Intelligence Service Law after its legal articles are completed by the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee.
Committee member Hussein Al-Amiri said in an interview with Al-Ma’louma Agency, “The National Intelligence Service law is ready for voting during the next legislative term.”
He added, "His committee has completed all observations and suggestions regarding the law, and all that remains is to present it to the Presidency of the House of Representatives in order to include it on the House agenda."
He pointed out the importance of "legislating the intelligence service law in the coming period because of its utmost importance to the security and protection of the citizen," stressing that "the most important law required by the next stage is the intelligence service law." Ended / 25 H
