    Information / Baghdad..
Member of the Economy and Trade Committee, Kazem Attia Al-Shammari, confirmed on Sunday that the Ministry of Industry has failed miserably over the course of successive and current governments, indicating that the Ministry has failed to develop ambitious plans to revive the national industry.
Al-Shammari said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “The Economy and Trade Committee pointed out a major flaw in the performance of the Ministry of Industry, especially with regard to the issue of rehabilitating laboratories, companies and factories and the Ministry’s lack of clear contribution to maximizing budget revenues.”
He added, "The performance of the Ministry of Industry over the successive and current governments was not at the required level and there is nothing tangible on the ground."
He stated that "the committee follows up and monitors the performance of the Ministry of Industry in order to address the defect and advance the industrial sector." Ended / 25 h
