    The Real Estate Bank announced the development of a new plan to follow up on collection mechanisms and collect loan dues.

    The bank's media office stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the General Director of the Real Estate Bank, Abbas Al-Jawahiri, held an important and expanded meeting with the directors of the bank's departments and branches and officials of the central units in the public administration, in addition to the presence of credit and audit officials and accountants in the governorate branches."
    He added, "The meeting discussed overcoming the challenges in all the bank's branches, and developing a new plan to follow up on collection mechanisms and collecting loan receivables, as well as celebrating the occasion of the bank launching electronic collection and collection services, which is the first of its kind in all Iraqi banks."
    He pointed out that “Al-Jawahiri began presenting the bank’s achievements by providing a detailed explanation and video clips showcasing electronic collection and collection services, in addition to the stages of implementing the project to automate banking operations related to loans and other banking operations.”
    He continued, "He also presented the decision of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Iraq, which includes stopping the collection of Real Estate Bank installments to the Central Bank, and what this represents in terms of giving and a great opportunity to support citizens who have previously applied for housing loans and were not included in the allocations of real estate initiative funds, along with drawing up a new plan for the branches and departments of the General Administration for mechanisms." Collecting the installments due to borrowers to be recycled into the initiative’s funds and allocated to loans that were not previously covered by the real estate initiative’s funds.”
    He pointed out that “the Real Estate Bank held a celebration on the occasion of the completion of the electronic collection and collection project for all branches of the Real Estate Bank to pay borrowers’ dues for housing loans through the (mobile application),” stressing that “the Real Estate Bank is considered the first among the Iraqi banks that launched the electronic collection service from Through the mobile application.
    He continued: "At the end of the session, thanks and appreciation were given to all the bank's employees for this great achievement, which is credited to the bank and its employees, wishing them further progress and prosperity in their service to our beloved Iraq."[/size]
