[rtl]The Iraqi Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, revealed details of bilateral discussions he held with senior officials in Kuwait.
Al-Shammari had made an official visit to the State of Kuwait, which he arrived on Sunday, during which he met with the Emir of the State of Kuwait, the Kuwaiti Minister of Interior, and other officials.
Al-Shammari said in press statements that he discussed with his Kuwaiti counterpart, Fahd Yousef Saud, ways to strengthen relations and expand the horizons of cooperation and security coordination between the two countries.
He added that he also discussed security coordination and information exchange to combat all types of smuggling and infiltration through common border crossings, in addition to steps to combat drugs and dry up their sources.
The Iraqi Minister of Interior indicated that "the meeting with his Kuwaiti counterpart also witnessed a discussion of facilitating the granting of entry visas to Iraqis into Kuwait."[/rtl]
