    The Permanent Joint Committee of Turkey and Iraq renewed, in its second meeting, the two countries’ commitment to cooperation in the field of water.

    According to diplomatic sources, the second meeting of the joint committee was held in[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]On July 1, 2024, with the participation of representatives from the relevant ministries of both countries.

    The meeting took additional steps to define a common vision and roadmap for efficient water use, taking into account challenges such as climate change and population growth.



    The meeting was attended by a delegation consisting of high-level officials from all Turkish executive institutions working in the field of water, who stressed the importance of the continuity of the committee’s work.
