[rtl]The government media team confirmed today, Saturday, that the Border Ports Authority has achieved a qualitative leap in performance through networking, while indicating that the Authority has organized training programs for its staff on the use of modern systems after equipping them with the latest communication and networking technologies.[/rtl]
[rtl]A statement by the team, received by "Al-Eqtisad News", stated that "the Border Ports Authority's staff continues to implement the networking project and automate all transactions at all border ports, in coordination with the relevant official authorities."[/rtl]
[rtl]He added that "these efforts aim to activate an integrated control system that links all border crossings to a central network for exchanging information, and aims to improve communication and coordination between the various concerned government agencies and enhance the operational efficiency of border crossings."[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that "the government media team conducted a field tour targeting the ports of Safwan, Umm Qasr North, Central and Southern, during which it was briefed on the mechanism of using modern technologies that contributed to simplifying procedures and reducing the time taken for customs clearance and inspection procedures, increasing accuracy in verification processes, and eliminating cases of corruption, manipulation and forgery in official documents."[/rtl]
[rtl]He explained that "the Border Ports Authority has organized training programs for its staff on the use of modern systems, after equipping the ports with the latest communication and networking technologies to ensure the speed and efficiency of information exchange."[/rtl]
[rtl]He stressed that "the Border Ports Authority is continuing its procedures and commitment to implementing the components of the government program, and continuing to develop the technical infrastructure and update the systems in line with the best international standards, to ensure achieving the highest levels of security and efficiency at all ports."[/rtl]
