    Baghdad/Al-Masala Event: Head of the State of Law Coalition Nouri al-Maliki received the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kuwait.
    Al-Masala publishes the text of the statement:
    The head of the State of Law Coalition, Mr. Nouri al-Maliki, received in his office today the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Interior of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.
    During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries were reviewed, in addition to discussing the latest developments in the region.
    The head of the State of Law Coalition expressed his welcome to the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Interior of the State of Kuwait, stressing Iraq's keenness to strengthen the bonds of cooperation in various fields, especially security, in light of the historical relations that bind the two countries.
    In turn, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah stressed that his visit comes within the framework of the close relations between the two brotherly countries, stressing his country's interest in strengthening cooperation mechanisms and exchanging expertise with the Iraqi security services.
