Ministry instead of Parliament.. Outcomes of the Sunni forces meeting at Halbousi’s house!

In the context of the current political movements in Iraq, political circles are discussing proposals regarding some Sunni forces giving up the presidency of parliament.
This proposal is considered part of negotiations to strengthen political alliances and enhance the balance between the various forces in the government, with a focus on achieving political and economic gains for multiple parties.
Political researcher Muhannad Al-Rawi said, “The conflict over the presidency of parliament is still ongoing between Sovereignty and Progress,” noting that “there is no solution to this crisis at the present time, due to the great fragmentation within the Sunni house.”
He added, "In the near future, we will witness reactions, splits, and joining of some blocs."
Al-Rawi stressed that “the issue of the position of Parliament Speaker will be resolved after the Arbaeen visit,” noting that “there are solutions on the horizon.”
For his part, member of the United Anbar Alliance, Mohammed Al-Dulaimi, revealed today, Monday, the outcomes of the Sunni forces meeting at the home of the dismissed Speaker of Parliament, Mohammed Al-Halbousi, in the city of Fallujah.
Al-Dulaimi said in press statements, "The meeting of the Sunni forces at Al-Halbousi's house discussed a political deal to present the concessions that any party could make in exchange for giving up the position of Parliament Speaker."
He added, "Delegations from Sunni political alliances opposed to Halbousi's orientations attended the meeting, noting that "the talk was about the possibility of giving up the presidency of the council in exchange for obtaining the ministries."
He added, "The talks are still ongoing until they are studied by the rest of the alliance leaders and they respond to or reject them."
In addition, the head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, announced today, Monday, an agreement to present a candidate for the presidency of parliament in exchange for giving up one of the ministries.
Al-Maliki said in a televised speech about the parliament presidency crisis, “The legislative institution has been affected by a problem and is now being managed by the first deputy, and it must be stabilized with a full presidency.”
He added, "There is a controversy raised about the desire of the largest component to control the presidency of parliament, and this is not true," stressing that "the Coordination Framework is keen on completing the political process and ending the crisis of the presidency of parliament."
Al-Maliki continued: “We agreed as political parties to present a candidate from one of the Sunni parties in exchange for giving up one of the ministries to the other party,” stressing that “the Coordination Framework took the initiative more than once to find a consensus among the Sunni forces regarding the presidency of parliament.”
On November 14, 2023, the Federal Supreme Court, “the highest judicial authority in Iraq,” decided to terminate the membership of Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi, following a lawsuit filed against him by MP Laith al-Dulaimi, in which he accused him of forging his (al-Dulaimi’s) resignation from membership in the House of Representatives. As a result, the Federal Court ruled to terminate their membership (al-Halbousi and al-Dulaimi).
On November 21, 2023, the Iraqi Parliament decided to officially terminate the membership of Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi.
Since then and until last June, the House of Representatives held many sessions to elect a new Speaker of the House, but the differences between the Sunni political forces prevented this.
