The Ministry of Construction and Housing revealed that there are negotiations with the Central Bank and that the Ministry of Finance has been approached to allocate an amount of two trillion dinars or more to launch housing fund loans.
The ministry’s spokesman, Istibraq Sabah, stated in a statement to the official newspaper, which was followed by (Mawazine News), that “the negotiations with the Central Bank came after all the loan amounts were exhausted, as loans cannot be opened without financial funding.”
He pointed out that “the Ministry of Finance has been approached to release the amounts allocated for loans, within the budget that also exceeds one trillion, with the aim of resuming their distribution, especially since many applicants were not accepted because of this, stressing that they have priority in obtaining loans.”
