[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Refining Affairs, Hamid Younis, chaired the leadership meeting of the refining sector projects.
The meeting reviewed, according to a statement by the ministry, the plans and programs that have been developed to advance the reality of projects in the refining sector, which are included in the government program, and are related to the rehabilitation and development of refineries and production units, to raise production capacities.
The meeting discussed the topics included in the agenda, including the development projects being implemented within the government program and the means to achieve their completion rates according to high-quality specifications and standards, which contribute to meeting the country's consumer need for oil products. The meeting emphasized urging refining sector companies to adopt modern technology in the oil industry, and to open up to international companies to develop the sector in a manner that is consistent with the ministry's plans.
The meeting discussed the importance of future plans and purposeful and developmental projects, which are implemented by national efforts, to achieve the goals, and the need to pay attention to the level of services provided by companies in all fields. The agenda included discussing the importance of implementing projects according to the specified timetables in support of the national economy and serving the public interest.
