    Jamil said in a statement received by Sumarya News, "In the framework of our commitment to the oversight role entrusted to us, and in application of the principles of transparency and integrity in which we believe, and after collecting the signatures of the representatives, we submitted an official request to the President of the Republic.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]To interrogate Benkin Rikani, Minister of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, against the backdrop of noting a number of violations related to the implementation and management of projects in the ministry.



    He added: "This request came after a careful review of the available files and information, which indicate the existence of administrative and technical violations and transgressions in a number of projects that are supposed to serve the Iraqi citizen and develop the infrastructure, based on the commitment of all concerned parties to the laws and regulations, and to protect public money from any waste or corruption."
