Shafaq News / An American satellite channel reported on Wednesday, that the Iraqi Prime Minister General Commander of the Armed Forces , Haider Abadi issued an order to transfer and replace 13 military and security commanders belonging to the defense and interior ministries in a formal letter.
"Al-Hurra Iraq" channel said in a story highlights assigning Maj. Gen. Nasser Al-Ghannam as head of al-Jazerra and al-Badia operations, and the transfer of Gen. Thia Kathem Danbus for the post of deputy commander of ground forces.
It said that the order included also transferring Lt. Gen.Jameel Kamel Abdullah from his post as Diyala police chief, to the post of commander of Euphrates operations.
It is worth mentioning that many changes and exemptions have been made on the military and security leaders since Abadi received the current government.
The political blocs have blamed the deteriorating security situation and ISIS control on large areas of the country on former Prime Minister , Nuri al-Maliki and his military commanders.
