Time to Apply It

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does." James 1:22, 25, NKJV

You may have the money, but until you use it, it does not profit you. Believing God answers prayer will encourage you. Yet that won't help you alone. Applying that faith by praying is what will change you. Having faith that God will give us wisdom is a blessing, yet now, when He speaks to your heart, handle the situation how He says to handle it.

It's not enough to have faith. You can have faith, but until you apply your faith, you won't receive. Faith is your seed. Applying your faith is when you put it into the ground. It's like being a hearer of the Word only, and not a doer.

Apply your faith right where you are. Have faith in your finances. Call your bank accounts full, yet don't stop there. Now apply your faith, go to the bank and begin to save, even if it is a little. Apply your faith and use your gifts to create wealth for you. As men, we have faith we're called, but now is the time to apply our faith and take action toward that call. Step out. When someone does something wrong to you, apply your faith in God and actually forgive, so you both can experience what the love of God can do. It may seem little, yet these are the exact same things that God will use and confound our own wisdom. It doesn't take God much to make great changes in our lives, even a seed of faith applied.

Prayer: Father, thank You for speaking to me this morning. Lord, I have faith, but also help me to apply my faith. Help me to believe You can take the smallest things I do for You, and bring great change and blessings in my life. I praise You in advance. In Jesus' name, Amen.
