Detection of a wide plan to protect energy Towers

Diyala governor said Muthana al-Tamimi, on Friday, in an agreement with the Ministry of Electricity on a broad plan to protect energy towers in the province to ensure that its exposure to deliberate sabotage operations.
Tamimi said in an interview, said that "Diyala administration entered into an agreement with the Ministry of Electricity on the contents of a broad plan to tighten protection mechanisms for the Towers of electric power within the province, especially in areas that are exposed to frequent operations targeting".
Tamimi said that "electricity towers Diyala exposed to real sabotage the war behind them main aim extremist groups hurt the economy and residents," pointing out that "the plan will take different implications in terms of keeping the land and the proliferation and reorganization of the electricity police capabilities on the Protection of the towers."
The electricity towers within a private Diyala Hamrin basin targeted several times in the past months, which led to power cuts for large areas of the province.
