    [ltr]Said the Commission on oil and energy parliamentary member Mazen Mezni, on Wednesday, that there are large amounts of gas is wasted and is not invested by the Ministry of Oil, while noting that gas production as a substitute for oil needs to study a strong strategy so as not to burn in the air.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He said Mezni L / scales News /, that "gas projects in Iraq is now working slowly, affecting negatively on the Iraqi wealth," adding that "there are large amounts of gas is wasted and is not invested by the Ministry of Oil, adversely affecting the production of electric energy" .[/ltr]
    [ltr]He added, "The gas production need to study a strong strategy so that the ministry can rely on the gas and not burning in the air," noting that "the prime minister Haider al-Abadi opened yesterday a big project, a power plant running on gas but has been run on black oil."[/ltr]
