    The Kuwaiti Parliament agreed to form a delegation to visit the port of Wilmington and the boundary with Iraq.

    According
    to Kuwait's Kuna News Agency on Tuesday that "the Board approved at its
    usual today on the formation of a parliamentary delegation to visit the
    port and border markers and oil installations in the North of the
    country."


    The Council began its discussion of the item on
    communications received and asked the first one's to form the
    parliamentary delegation for the reason stated, leaving a Council
    Office.

    Kuwait said the UN Special Mission in Iraq [us] solving
    the problem of the demarcation of the land boundary with Iraq
    permanently after removing abuses and obstacles to maintaining boundary
    markers in the Umm Qasr area.

    The Kuwaiti Prime Minister Jaber
    Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah Saturday his intention to visit Iraq to solve
    all outstanding issues between the two countries, but is waiting for an
    invitation from the Iraqi side to visit.


    The UN Security Council
    issued resolution No. 1993/833/the demarcation of the boundary between
    Kuwait and Iraq, along about 216 km, the application of resolution
    partially under the former regime to carve out large areas of the
    territory of Iraq in terms of Safwan and Umm Qasr to Kuwait.

    And
    Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations have described positive developments over the
    past months, to finish the outstanding issues between the two countries,
    Iraq's output of international sanctions imposed in section VII, by the
    end of the UN Security Council.

    KUWAIT,
    April 2 (KUNA) -- The National Assembly will form a delegation to
    inspect Mina Mubarak, border marks and oil installations located along
    the northern borders of the country.

    The parliament, during a
    regular session on Tuesday, approved a request by a member of the
    assembly to form the delegation for this inspection mission. The bureau
    of the assembly will be tasked with establishing it.

    MPs, during
    today's session, in response to a written request by the chairman of the
    parliamentary committee of health and social affairs, approved
    adjourning the period for presenting its report regarding condition of
    public hospitals, health insurance for Kuwaitis and privatization of
    health services to the next session.

    The issue of medical treatment abroad was exempted for further investigation.
    They
    okayed another letter, presented by the head of the parliamentary
    health committee, requesting that the Audit Bureau be tasked with
    preparing a study about the treatment abroad in the fiscal years
    2012-2011 and 2012-2013.

    The study should be submitted to the assembly within three months.

    They
    also responded positively to request by Minister of State for Planning
    and Development and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Dr.
    Rola Dashti for specializing the Thursday session for following on
    recommendations of the security issues' session, discussing health
    topics and delaying debates on demographic issue and unemployment to
    later sessions.

    Discussing two other proposals was delayed for
    two weeks, upon a government request, one related to the formation of a
    temporary committee for examining recent personnel promotion in the oil
    sector and the other concerning the formation of a fact-finding
    commission to ponder problems involving Kuwaiti students in Jordan.

    (IraqiNews.com) -The Kuwaiti National Assembly approved the formation of a delegation to visit Grand Mubarak Port and the border signs with Iraq.
    The Kuwaiti (Kuna) News Agency reported on Tuesday “The Kuwaiti National Assembly approved, during its regular session of Tuesday, the formation of a parliamentary delegation to visit Grand Mubarak Port, the border signs at the Iraqi-Kuwaiti borders, and the oil facilities in north of Iraq.”
    Kuwait and the UN Assistance Mission to Iraq (UNAMI) announced resolving the issue of the border demarcation with Iraq once and for all after removing all the transgressions and the obstacles that hurdle maintaining the border sings in UM Qasr border district.
    The Premier of Kuwait, Jaaber Mubarak al-Sabah announced on last Saturday his intention to visit Iraq to discuss settling all the pending issues with Iraq, but he is awaiting Iraq’s invitation for this visit.
