    [ltr]We arrived Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, on Thursday, to Algeria in an official visit lasting several days.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The ministry said in a statement received / balances News / copy of it, "Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari arrived today to Algeria for an official visit lasting several days, and was greeted by Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra."[/ltr]
    [ltr]The statement added that "al-Jaafari discussed with his Algerian counterpart bilateral relations and ways of strengthening them to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples."[/ltr]
    [ltr]He continued, "The Foreign Minister praised the position of Algeria, who was at the forefront of countries that rejected the Turkish violation of Iraqi territory and contributed, along with the rest of the Arab countries to leave the first Arab consensus in the history of the Arab League, which stood together and denounced the Turkish violation."[/ltr]
    [ltr]The ministry said, according to a statement, that "Iraq is about to engage in constructive dialogues that will constitute a new turning point in the relations between the two countries."[/ltr]
    [ltr]For his part, Algerian Foreign Minister said that "the visit to Iraq two years ago and developed a building block to restore relations between the two countries and strengthened."[/ltr]
    [ltr]He added that "consultations will deal with the war on terror as well as the deteriorating economic conditions as a result of lower oil and cooperation in many sectors, as well as coordination of positions at the level of joint Arab action and the position of the central issue for the Arab nation of the Palestinian cause," and praised the "resistance to Iraq of terrorism."
