    BAGHDAD
/ NINA / An MP, of the Iraqiya coalition, Faiza al-Obeidi said there is
no option for the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki but to implement the
demands of the demonstrators or to resign, according to her.

    She
told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "Maliki's insistence on
not to implement the demands of the demonstrators, which are legitimate
rights for them, means he works against the wishes of the Iraqi people,
who brought him to his post."

Al-Obeidi added: "So, there should be necessitate measures to either respond to the demands of the demonstrators or to resign."

    She
noted: if Maliki does not submit his resignation, the House of
Representatives should to go withdraw confidence from him and form a
transitional government overseen by parliament until new elections on
the condition that this government is not allowed it to nominate in the
next election so as not to repeat the tragedy faced by the Iraqi people,
    according to her .

    She continued: "the House of
Representatives should vote today on a number of laws that could put an
end to the suffering of the Iraqi people from flagrant violations, first
is to vote on the law of the Federal Court and the leaders of the
brigades and vote on the amnesty law." / End
