    Baghdad (NINA) –

Iraqiya slate accused the National Alliance (NA) of
being responsible for what it describes as "Maliki's behavior" that
    resulted in today's sudden deterioration.

    In a statement on
Friday, Jan. 25, in response to Falluja's events, read by lawmaker
Salman al-Jumaily, after concluding a meeting attended by its leaders,
ministers and lawmakers, held at the Speaker's, Usama al-Nijaifi.
Iraqiya said that the Iraqis got surprised, at a time the people are
peacefully demonstrating demanding their constitutional and legitimate
rights, in being faced being fired at, which is crime before the law.

    It
went on saying that security forces, which are supposed to protect the
Iraqi people, came out off their patriotic and legal responsibilities by
attacking the people, instead of defending it. What has happened today
was not a clash, rather an outright attack on armless civilians,
resulted in more than 60 killed and wounded.

    The statement added
that at the time we condemn this act we accuse the Commander in Chief

criminal who carried assault against the Iraqis.

    Iraqiya accused
the National Alliance of bearing patriotic, legal and ethical
responsibility for Maliki's behavior that resulted in today's sudden
deterioration; being the bloc to which the Prime Minister belongs. It
demanded the NA to present an alternative that respects Iraqi blood and
    preserves Iraq's unity and sovereignty.

    It said that it is
useless to hold dialogue unless Maliki replaced. It also demanded the
demonstrators for restrain and preserve the demonstrations remain
peaceful in demanding their legitimate rights.

Falluja witnessed clashes between the military and demonstrators
