Kuwaiti Parliament announced that his country will take the last decision of the compensation due to Iraq by 2015.
He said Kuwaiti MP Adnan Abdul Samad told press on Wednesday that his country will take over the rest of the Iraqi invasion reparations amounting to 14 billion dollars by 2015, the United Nations approved a total compensation owed to Kuwait from Iraq worth 41 billion dollars, and total recipient so far of $ 29 billion and the remaining 11 251 billion dollars.
Samad revealed an agreement between Kuwait and Iraq and the United Nations that receive payment every three months at a rate of almost 1 billion on average, which would end the total remaining amount in 2015.
And MP Adnan Abdul Samad as the Chairman of the Committee on Budgets in the Kuwaiti Parliament, made the remarks today on the sidelines of the meeting of the Committee to consider the future Kuwaiti budget projections before submission for approval by Parliament.
