BAGHDAD / JD / .. Although compel the federal government and the budget of all ministries to contract with the Ministry of Industry and private industry companies to provide them with some of the materials that you need, but most of the ministries and government institutions refuses to do so and prefer to import from abroad, where some experts say in economic affairs that rejected those ministries contracting with local companies raises suspicion extent of the transparency of contracts concluded abroad, demanding the government to impose sanctions on other ministries and institutions, which imports materials produced in the interior.

It confirms economist Adel Mandalawi, that most of the ministries, especially electricity, agriculture, trade import some materials and the wheels by the Ministry of Industry companies having produced, and this is contrary to the provisions of the federal budget, which obliges all state institutions to contract with the Ministry of Industry companies for processing certain materials that you need instead of importing as well as the existence of subsidiary companies to the private sector which can be used and encourage this vital sector, well that is contrary to the government program unleashed by the Prime Minister with the beginning of the formation of the government, which calls for the activation of the Iraqi industrial sector, both public and private.

He told Mandalawi / KD / The country today is an urgent need to activate the vital sectors and full support of the national product and this comes through the promotion of dealing with local product and prevent the import of materials produced in the interior.

He noted that the Ministry of Electricity is still imported transformers and electrical midwives and wires, but in fact some of the Ministry of Industry companies began working again and produce those materials, in addition to the Ministry of Commerce on imported hundreds of tons of food ration card. In fact there coefficient of local companies and re-work for the production of materials such as sugar, vegetable oil and other materials needed by the ration card, pointing out that the Ministry of Agriculture are you import some materials needed by the agricultural sector, while the Ministry of Industry companies based their production, this all leads to a waste of money and the weakness in the domestic economy.

For his part, he said an expert on industrial affairs Ali al-Saadi, said the reluctance of government agencies from contracting with local companies due to the first two reasons mistrust domestic national product and there are no guarantees that a high specification and is able to fill the need of it, and the other is due to the fear of the inability of companies The Ministry of Industry to fulfill promises in front of those contracts.

He said al-Saadi told / KD / he must be a mechanism work encouraged by which all ministries and state institutions to contract with local companies and to impose financial sanctions on the violator as well as prevent the import of materials produced in the interior, adding that the insistence of some ministries on foreign imports raises doubts and the existence of suspicions of corruption suspicion that hovers Alacod.anthy / 8 /
