Masum calls to defend the interests of Iraq's water abuses

confirmed President of the Republic, Dr. Fuad Masum, serious and worsening of thedangers and various threats faced by Iraq about its
water resources, calling for the need to raise the voice of the country in the forums ofregional and international strong in defense of the national water interests against abuses unfair sometimes on their legitimate rights by a number from neighboring countries , especially Turkey, Iran and Syria.

the President of the Republic, during the conference , which saw the participation oforganizations and institutions of international bodies concerned with water affairs and academics , specialists and Iraqi and foreign experts, a priority to work on restoring ecosystems destroyed and the establishment of environmental reserves, and the use ofmodern irrigation systems and the development of plans and strategies optimum utilization of water and continue the process of rehabilitation of the marshes in southern Iraq ,. he

neighboring countries, which has damaged our national economy and reduced job opportunities and increased levels of poverty and the impact significantly on the health of the Iraqi citizen, and caused disruption

He noted President Dr. Fuad Masum, that Iraq is working to re - ecosystems devastating Kalohuar in the south and the establishment of reserves environmental in Kurdistan and campaigns landscaping. It
