Sources revealed on Tuesday that the cleric, Muqtada al-Sadr, "prepare for mass demonstrations this week or next week, as the dispute between him and the head of the Iraqi government, Haider al-Abadi rose, on ministerial reforms and change.
Sadr said that "US forces in Iraq remain a target him," in response to a question about a US defense secretary, Ashton Carter, last week during his surprise visit to Baghdad, that "the US Defense Department will send 560 additional troops to help Iraqi forces to restore the city # Mosul , Northern Iraq".
For his part, he warned the prime minister, Haidar al-Abbadi, the presence of any armed appearances among the demonstrators, and threatened to "deal with them as terrorists, and equipped special forces to this matter."
