    Baghdad - Zidane-Rubaie:

    Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Transmission relations between the two countries to a new stage of cooperation and at the conclusion of a visit by the head of the Kuwaiti government to Iraq, during which he held talks with his Iraqi counterpart, as the two sides signed a series of agreements on cooperation in the fields of political and economic development.

    The talks began bilateral meeting between Maliki and Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak, followed by a joint meeting attended by members of the Iraqi and Kuwaiti delegations. Maliki confirmed in a speech opened the session of the Joint Meeting starting a new phase in relations between the two neighbors the brothers and said, "We will not suffice beyond the crisis, but we open a new era of cooperation and the development of political and economic relations in the areas of investment, energy, transport and the environment,"

    For his part, Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak "We have been able to open a new stage in the Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations, beyond which address the legacy turn the page on the past to a wider relations in all fields.

    At a joint press conference with his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, signed 6 agreements of understanding with Kuwait in the areas of environmental and diplomatic cooperation, higher education and economic, technical and air transport services. "The representatives of the United Nations in Iraq and Kuwait trend today," Wednesday, "the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon to display the file out of Iraq from Chapter VII" of the UN Charter which imposed after the invasion of Kuwait in 1990. "

    For his part, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister said that "Kuwait will be the UN Security Council, including progress made in order to remove Iraq from Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations in order to rid Iraq of all restrictions and become a mainstay for the growth and prosperity of the region because of Iraq from big countries influential in the region. "     In answer to a question about the Kuwaiti port of Mubarak's controversial, it was considered the morning harbor "integral and not competitive and the region need more than the port."
