     Revealed an American institution, competent market research, Friday, for the dominance of foreign companies on the edible oil market in Iraq, most of them Turkish, and noted that its sales exceeded 1.3 billion dollars in 2015, covered about 90% of the needs of the Iraqi market, as expected keep control of the market until 2025.

    The study, that "the total sales of these companies during the year 2015 reached 1.3 billion dollars," anticipating that the proportion of sales doubling to $ 2.3 billion by 2025, an annual growth rate of consumption of up to 6.0%, "
    The study predicts that "overall rating for the annual rate of growth of this trade in Iraq stops at 3.3% for the period from 2016 to 2025, is also likely to reach the olive oil trade growth rate at 7.7% for the period from 2010 to 2025".
    The study, to be "the capital of Baghdad was the highest percentage of edible oil consumption in the Iraqi market rate, where the share of consumption of edible oil during the year 2015 up to 22.4% of all the other provinces, predicted the continuity of corporate dominance on the market for the time period extended until 2025 with ".
    And it predicted the US research institution, that "the shift gets to trade edible oil market in Iraq over the coming years, while encouraging the Iraqi government and its support for local companies to produce edible oil, and through the promotion of local production capacity with the support of the government," noting that "the Iraqi Ministry of Trade focused recently on the need to reduce dependence on imports and at the same time encouraging local producers to meet the growing needs of the domestic market of edible oil. "
