According to al-Mashhadani told the "Nur News" that "the post of defense minister is one of the benefits coalition forces so the other parties must respect the national partnership in the government formation."
He called al-Abadi to "speed up persuading the political blocs to move to submit the names of candidates for the security ministries in conjunction with the ongoing liberalization of the cities of Mosul and Anbar military operations in order to grab the land and the return of displaced families."
