    [rtl]Member of Parliament Yasser Al-Husseini revealed today, Sunday (July 7, 2024), that all restrictions on the movements of the so-called Nour Zuhair have been lifted, indicating that he currently controls the ports of the south and represents a big puzzle that is not wanted to be revealed.[/rtl]
    [rtl]Al-Hussaini said, "The so-called Nour Zuhair, despite the many cases filed against him and his transformation into a public opinion issue in Iraq for months, is in fact currently free and all restrictions on his movements have been lifted, whether inside or outside the country."[/rtl]
    [rtl]He added, "The strange thing is that anyone who tries to bring his case back to public opinion and search for the facts of what happened is subjected to pressure to silence him by all means," noting that "he enjoys the support and immunity of what we call the deep state."[/rtl]
    [rtl]Al-Hussaini wondered about "the amount of money that Nour Zuhair returned to the Iraqi treasury and why he still dominates important sectors of the country's economy, especially the southern ports," stressing that "he represents a big puzzle that is not wanted to be revealed to the people and there are strong pressures to close the issue by all means."[/rtl]
    [rtl]In mid-March, the head of the Integrity Commission, Judge Haider Hanoun, revealed the fate of the defendants in the theft of the century case, while confirming that the main defendant, Nour Zuhair, and 30 others will be tried soon, indicating that Nour Zuhair’s case is currently with the judiciary to complete the lawsuit procedures and that the investigation court is working to complete some of the funds, and then go to the subject court to try them according to the law.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The judge of the Karkh Investigation Court, First Judge Diaa Jaafar, had previously confirmed that there are some details that he has reached and that he is collecting evidence towards the rest of the parties involved in the case, noting that the case of the Deal of the Century is not related to the accused Nour Zuhair only, but to many parties and leaders within the previous government who facilitated and planned to seize these funds.[/rtl]
