     Information/ Baghdad..
The future politician Adnan Mohammed confirmed today, Saturday, that half of the criminal Baath Party leadership is in Jordan, while he identified 3 reasons preventing the implementation of the Basra-Aqaba oil pipeline project.
In an interview with Al-Maalouma, Mohammed said, "There is no disagreement about the brutal massacres that the criminal Baath Party caused in Iraq throughout the four decades of its rule," noting that "remembering the recent past must be present in any decisions related to the interests of this people."
He added that "half of the leadership of the criminal Baath party is currently in Jordan, and there is even support for them from the ruling establishment through providing cover for the establishment of the Baath party years ago despite the horrific crimes it committed against the Iraqi people," noting that "it is not possible to imagine building a strategic project with a state that embraces the remnants of the Baath party that is behind tens of thousands of mass graves."
He pointed out that "the relationship with Jordan needs to be reformulated in a way that serves the interests of Iraq and not corrupt political parties at the expense of the victims of the defunct Baath regime," noting that "there are three reasons that push us to reject the Aqaba project, the most prominent of which are Jordan's position on the Baath, its relationship with Tel Aviv, and our suspicions that the project represents a drain on Iraq's funds."
Many political forces have announced their rejection of the Aqaba project, especially with its high cost and suspicions of its exploitation by the Zionist entity through companies. End 25 F
