    Shafaq News/ Iranian official media reported on Sunday that Iran and Iraq agreed to reopen border markets in the cities of Baneh and Saqqez in Iranian Kurdistan Province.
    The representative of the people of Saqez in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohsen Biglari, in a press interview, referred to his meeting with the commander of the Iranian Border Guards, Brigadier General Ahmad Ali Goudarzi, regarding reviewing the conditions of the border markets in the provinces of Siranband, Hangezal, Golsur Pan, and Seif Saqez; and he reported the approval of the Border Guards to reopen these border markets.
    The representative of the people of Saqqez and Anan in parliament described the reopening of the border markets of these two border cities as a general demand of the people, according to the semi-official Iranian Mehr News Agency.
    He added: "Fortunately, the Border Guard Command has agreed to reopen the Kurdistan borders 100%."
