    Baghdad Today - Baghdad
Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, confirmed today, Monday (July 8, 2024), his continued support for outstanding students from families benefiting from the ministry’s services.
Al-Asadi said during his meeting with a group of families benefiting from social protection services with their outstanding children, according to a statement from the ministry, received by "Baghdad Today", that "it is a pleasure to meet our outstanding students, and these are opportunities to generalize these successful models that overcome their life circumstances," stressing that "each one of them is a success story that deserves to be honored, and is an example to be emulated in society."
He added that "the government will continue, through the Ministries of Labor and Education, to support all outstanding youth, and will provide them with new opportunities to achieve progress in science and learning," calling on "all cultural, political, and social activities to build a future worthy of youth, and for society to be a tool for elevation and strength for these models, and for every title of excellence."
Al-Asadi said, "The government and the ministry are keen to continue supporting all cases of excellence and success, as well as the poor and vulnerable classes, because the ministerial program is based on supporting these classes and combating multidimensional poverty."
During the meeting, the Minister distributed gifts to outstanding students, on the initiative of the Social Services Department in the Social Protection Department, in cooperation with the Balady Organization for Women’s Affairs.
