Economist: Employee salaries are not affected by any liquidity crisis, but their disbursement is delayed

{Economic: Al Furat News} An economic expert confirmed that employees’ salaries will not be affected by any potential liquidity crisis.
Salah Nouri, the former director of the Financial Supervision Bureau, told Al Furat News Agency, "In all cases, salaries are secured even in the event of a liquidity crisis, but the funding and disbursement date may be delayed."
He explained that "according to the timings stipulated in the Financial Administration Law No. (6) of 2019, the Council of Ministers submits the draft budget before mid-October of each year to the House of Representatives."
He pointed out that "the budget is approved by the House of Representatives in December of each year."
