A senior government source confirmed to the (Badr): Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki will travel to Moscow at the head of a high-ranking delegation to discuss various political issues facing the region, as well as the Syrian crisis and follow-up reinforcement deal concluded by Iraq with Russia. The source said that Iraq has a great fear of the events in Syria, therefore seeks to complete the arms deal and persuade the Russian side the need to provide it with weapons, particularly aircraft, to be unable to protect his land from the takfiri and terrorist groups based in Syria. The source: the Iraq intelligence about an intention to terrorist groups fighting the regime in Damascus, to desire to enter Iraq after toppling the Assad regime, therefore, seeks to provide the army with advanced weapons to prevent the flow of terrorists into Iraq. And the Russian media, revealed Friday that Russia would hand Iraq ten sophisticated helicopters next month under a deal worth over $ 4 billion.
