    Foreign Minister Ibrahim al - Jaafari confirmed that 70% of the land was liberated from thecontrol of Daesh, stressing that Iraq is now working on post - Daesh. 
    This came during a meeting between al -Jaafari , the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Vatican Paul Richard Gallagher, During the meeting , theydiscussed bilateral relations and the prospects of upgrading them to meet the aspiration of both peoples. 
    A statement from the Foreign Ministry, and received (range) a copy of it yesterday, that "al - Jaafari spoke about the fateful battle waged by Iraq against Daesh gangs terrorist , " stressing that " the Iraqi armed forces Besnovha all achieved victories, and advanced significant in the battle to liberate the city of Mosul." 
    The foreign minister noted that " the security situation has improved by a large margin from the previous, was liberated 70% of the land in Iraq. The Iraqi forces seized control of the three roads between Mosul and Syria; to ensure that the escape of the terrorists, and their families, and kill them." 
    He said Foreign Minister that " the proportion of the displaced is less than the number that had been expected him before the start of the battle to liberate Mosul , " adding that "military operations need some time; due totake Daesh terrorist gangs of civilians as human shields." 
    Jaafari stressed that "Iraq is now working on post - Daesh , " stressing that " the Iraqi people , lonely, and rallied to defend the city of Mosul and the rest of the cities of Iraq." 
    In another context, the foreign minister pointed out that "all religions converge on the basis of respect forhuman rights, and dignity, and to promote a culture of peace and values, while Daesh have not been published , but the culture of hatred, and displacement, murder, and the targeting of all religions , from Muslims, and Christians, and Yazidis, and that all religions reject what terrorists do Daesh. " 
    Jaafari reiterated the invitation to His Holiness Pope Francis, and the Vatican counterpart to visit Iraq. He stressed " the need to reactivate the work of the permanent dialogue between the offices of the Supreme Iraqi Endowments and the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue, and a second meeting in Baghdad." 
    Jaafari pointed out that "Iraq Forum faiths, and pending a gathering point for the second meal of Christian pilgrims to the historic city of Ur , according to the bilateral agreement signed between the two parties." 
    For his part, Foreign Minister of the Vatican , " the continued support of the Holy See 's commitment to Iraq, and his desire to strengthen bilateral relations with Iraq, and that the Holy See is working for the preservation of cultural monuments in Iraq and Syria." 
    He praised Gallagher as " the victories achieved by the Iraqi security forces against Daesh terrorist gangs in the city of Mosul, and it is a great opportunity for the return of Christians to the city after its liberation, and animportant occasion for Pope Francis for his visit to Iraq , " and expressed hope for " the return of peace and security in the Middle East in general, and Iraq in particular, and the return of the Christians, and the effective participation in building the new Iraq. " 
    The two sides agreed according to the statement on the "Memorandum of Understanding between theRepublic of Iraq , the Vatican and the state of private political consultations at the senior officials in the two countries ' foreign ministry level to coordinate positions in conferences, international symposiums, and cooperation between the Institutes of Foreign Service for both countries, and a gathering point for the second meal of Christian pilgrims to Iraq . " .
