[rtl]Oil prices continue to fall and why?[/rtl]

    BAGHDAD / Sky Press
    [/rtl]
[rtl]Oil prices fell on Wednesday, following the growth of US crude inventories and estimates that OPEC produced more oil in November than previously thought, undermining a planned reduction of production. [/rtl]

[rtl]By 0809 GMT, futures for crude fell US West Texas Intermediate 69 cents, or about 1.3 percent to $ 52.29 a barrel.[/rtl]

[rtl]The decline in global London Brent crude 60 cents, or about 1.08 percent to $ 55.12 a barrel.[/rtl]

[rtl]Traders said prices fell after a report showed a surprise increase in US oil inventories.[/rtl]

[rtl]Markets also focused on an expected US interest rates are likely to support the dollar, making imports of fuel which is made in dollars more expensive to countries using other currencies at home.[/rtl]

[rtl]Traders said oil prices have fallen more because of a report by the International Energy Agency said it believes that OPEC pumped about 34.2 million barrels of oil per day in November, an increase of 500 thousand barrels from the official OPEC estimates, which already represents the level of record production.[/rtl]

[rtl]If confirmed, it may undermine the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries efforts of the (OPEC) and other producers such as Russia to cut production by about 1.8 million barrels a day in an effort to eliminate the oversupply and falling oil prices continued two years ago.[/rtl]
