The head of the Alliance for Democracy and Justice Barham Salih, announced on Sunday, his final position of running for president.
Saleh said in a joint press conference with the Deputy Chairman of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, after a meeting between them, held in Erbil on Sunday that "there is no basis for what was said about my candidacy for the presidency, there are rumors, but there is nothing official about this In particular ".
"I have not been nominated and I have not been nominated for the post of president, not by the Alliance for Democracy and Justice or by any other party," he said.
The Kurdistan Democratic Party is conducting a series of high-level visits and meetings with parties and other parties in the Kurdistan Region in order to arrive at a joint Kurdistan work program adopted in Baghdad during the talks to form a new Iraqi government.
