MEPCO Modifies Two Facility Agreements with Kuwait National Bank and SABB

The Middle East Paper Company ( MEPCO ) announced the completion of the renewal of the two Sharia'a compliant banking facilities with NationalBank of Kuwait and Saudi British Bank SABB for SR 421 million instead of SR 260 million.
In a statement on Tadawul, MEPCO said it signed on Thursday that it had completed the renewal and modification of the Shariah compliant banking facility agreement with the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK), increasing the value of the facilities from 110 million riyals to 213 million riyals.
The agreement on credit facilities is renewable at the end of the agreement on 30 June 2019.
The Facility Agreement is secured by a provision of an order for the value of the Facility in favor of the Bank .
The purpose of the facility is to finance the company's working capital and meet other business requirements .

In a related context, MEPCO signed an agreement with the Saudi British Bank to renew and amend the Shariah Compliant Facility Agreement with the Saudi British Bank to increase the value of the facilities from SR 150 million to SR 208 million .
She explained that the credit facility agreement is renewable at the end of the agreement on 28 February 2019.
The Facility Agreement is secured by a provision of an order for the value of the Facility in favor of the Bank .
She explained that the purpose of the facilities is to finance the working capital of the company and meet the requirements of other business .
There were no relevant parties to the Convention.
