Minister of Finance: We look forward to the development of government institutions

The Minister of Finance Fuad Hussein, during his meeting with Bruno Obert, ambassador of the French Republic in Baghdad, on Tuesday, looked forward to Iraq to provide support for the development of government institutions in the country.
"The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance Fouad Hussein received Bruno Obert, Ambassador of the French Republic in Baghdad, during the meeting discussed and reviewed the distinguished bilateral relations between Iraq and France and the latest developments on the local, regional and international levels, .
"We welcome the French government on the occasion of the formation of the new government," he said, expressing his country's readiness to provide full support for the success of the government's mission to develop the economy and provide services to the Iraqi people.
"His government looks forward to playing a major role in providing support to the building and development of Iraqi government institutions," he said, noting that "work is under way to open the headquarters of the French Development Agency to provide direct support to the government.
He added that "the French president is interested in what happened in Iraq and the side effects left by the control of terrorist organizations calling on some areas of Iraq and the destruction and persecution of its children, especially the components of our people." For his part, Hussein thanked "the ambassador and through him the French government for its continued support for Iraq."
He added that "Iraq needs at this stage to its friends, especially France through the development of expertise in several areas in the structure of government institutions and the development of the financial system and the work of banks and fighting corruption." Finished
