The Iraqi government announced on Tuesday that the American side was informed of the presence of foreign military presence in the country.
"We have informed the US side of Iraq's priorities regarding the foreign military presence," Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi told a weekly news conference. "Iraq will never be a region of conflict and regional conflict."
"Iraq can not bear all the devastation it has caused," he said. "The whole world is called upon to stand with us."
"Iraq has provided great experience to the world with a courageous revolution, and the world has to give us back the favor," he said.
