"The high risk of oil trading on the stock exchanges, the issues of export guarantees, and the transfer, all of the factors that caused the non-purchase of Iranian oil in the new year," said Ali Hosseini, general manager of the Iranian Energy Exchange.
Iran's oil company is trying to counter US sanctions by selling Iranian oil on the energy exchange. Despite the facilities it has provided to oil customers, it has not found anyone to buy the first shipment in the new Iranian year, which it offered on Tehran's energy exchange.
Last week, for the eighth time, the Iranian Energy Exchange (IEA) saw a million barrels of light crude oil, worth $ 63 and 36 cents per barrel, but remained without buyers.
In this regard, Hosseini said that the Iranian Oil Company provided favorable conditions for customers.
According to the oil company's regulations, customers pay 10 per cent of the value of the shipment at the time of registration of the application, 10 per cent after the registration of the purchase and 80 per cent after 50 days of receipt.
