Oil warns overseers of oil pipelines to take legal action

The Ministry of Oil, on Friday, the lifting of a number of abuses on oil pipelines in Baghdad and the provinces, warning of taking all the legal procedures against the fundamentalist offenders.

The statement quoted the Director General of the company, Daoud Salem, as saying that "the company has implemented a comprehensive campaign to lift the excesses on the pipeline network resulted in the identification and lifting of the excess of five sites on the pipeline carrier oil products measuring 10 node track line (cycle - Rusafa) Nasiriyah-Kot), the carrier of oil products and a 10-knot tube for the production of gas oil, a track line (Samawah-Diwaniyah) and lifting the overflow on the pipeline measuring 16 knots of crude oil product line track (east of Baghdad - Dora).
The Director-General referred to "taking all legal measures against the aggressors," stressing that "continuing efforts to detect all the pipelines through the use of modern technologies, where the company is working to install a modern electronic monitoring system to detect cases of abuse."
