Trump: Customs duties pay companies out of China

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump said his tariffs on Chinese goods are driving companies to transfer production overseas to other Asian countries such as Vietnam, adding that any deal with China could not be "half a solution."
In an interview with Fox News on Sunday evening, Trump said the United States and China had reached "a very strong agreement, we had a good deal, but they changed it. I said, "We will charge for their products."
