Deputy Furat al-Tamimi, on Sunday, supported the decision to close the Sumar-Mandali border crossing with Iran east of Diyala province.
"I support the decision to close the Sumar-Mandali border crossing with Iran in Diyala province because of the influence of influential parties and the lack of solutions by the government to address these violations," Tamimi said in a statement received.
Tamimi said that "90% of the revenues of the port was going to smugglers and influential gangs," stressing that "the crossing was suffering from a huge amount of problems." Finished 25 h
