(Baghdad: Euphrates News) Speaker of the House of Representatives Mohammed Halbousi, to support the military establishment and work on the legislation that contribute to its development.
This came during his visit, on Monday, the Ministry of Defense and was received by Minister Najah al-Shammari and a number of leaders and officers.
A statement issued by his office, received (Euphrates News) a copy of it, "The House of Representatives support the military and the sons of the Iraqi army of all kinds, and is working to legislate the necessary laws that contribute to its construction and development, stressing the need to meet its needs by strengthening its allocations in the next budget."
He added, "His visit was an expression of this support, and that there is a national consensus to reject all attempts to undermine him and his championships, and that the diminution of his sacrifices is an offense to all of Iraq."
"The Iraqi army, whose history has been defended by the battles of defending the homeland, has won the great victory in the face of terrorism on behalf of the whole world, and who represented all Iraqis with all their affiliations;
For his part, the Minister of Defense thanked the Speaker of the House of Representatives for his visit and his interest in the military and support of its members, stressing that the members of the armed forces will remain the safety valve and the immune wall on which the Iraqi state is based and behind him protect the people of all spectrums.
