BAGHDAD - The
Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Hamid al-Ghazi, on Sunday, with a Chinese delegation to draw an international investment map to serve Iraqi cities in general, and the province of Dhi Qar in particular.
"The Secretary General, with the Chairman of Dhi Qar Investment Commission, Imad Al-Atabi, and a delegation from the Chinese company CGCOC, which specializes in the development of health and infrastructure and transport services," said a statement of the Cabinet Secretariat in a statement received by Mawazine News.
During the meeting, they discussed "the development of investment reality in Dhi Qar province and the efforts made through twinning with major companies."
The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers confirmed the readiness of the Secretariat-General to "overcome all obstacles and overcome routine in accordance with the governmental contexts in force."
He stressed "the need to consolidate the investment relations between the two countries and draw an international investment map to serve the Iraqi cities in general, and the province of Dhi Qar in particular, and follow-up investment activities, as well as emphasizing the importance of twinning with the Chinese provinces and major industrial."
For his part, the Chairman of the Investment Authority of Dhi Qar, a brief explanation on the pioneering projects of the Authority, which exceeded by granting more than thirty investment licenses by 200 billion dinars, which included iron and steel factory and diamond factory for dyes and housing projects, resorts, hotels, tourism and agricultural investments.
