political affairs expert Nabil Al-Azzawi confirmed that the visit of the Turkish delegation this time to Baghdad gave an indication that Ankara needs Baghdad.
Al-Azzawi said to Mawazine News, “The Turkish committee’s visit confirms that there are a number of things that will happen during the coming period, given that Turkey needs Iraq this time, pointing out that Iraq is considered a promising investment environment in light of the embarkation on the path of development that connects the East with the West.” .
He added, "The negotiations with the Turkish side will be fruitful and productive, noting that there are 10 files that will be discussed between the Iraqi and Turkish sides, and the most important of these files is the presence of Turkish forces in northern Iraq."
He stated that "the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) poses a threat to Turkish national security, stressing that a number of discussions took place between the two sides regarding the Bakke."
